hey, im planning on getting a mk2 fiesta for my first car and hopefully insuring it just after i turn 18.

i've looked on many insurance websites and some of the prices for a 1.0L or a 1.1L or even a 1.3L are rediculous.

tried aviva and they would do a mk2 fiesta 1.0L, third party fire and theft for 1900 annualy, which i think is pretty good to be honest. only about an extra 100 quid for fully comp so i'll end up doing that.

does anybody know any other car insurance companies that would be able to do cheaper?

Seeing as it is a mk2 why don't you try getting classic insurance which should be cheaper.

 

i've tried before on a couple of places but as im only 17 at the moment, alot of classic car insurers wont accept me because im not 21. the ones that did accept me were more expensive than aviva. i might see if i can haggle the price down a little over the phone
