we have just come back, had a good time there.

We did the trip to Cairo, well worth doing imo. Scuba diving and the quads are good too.

 

you have got to knock them down on the price of everythig too....taxi's especially.

 

how much was the trip to ciaro , we are in an all exclusive hotel called baron palms and we are takin £1000 spending money , will this be enuff ?

I Stayed in Baron Palms last year mate!! Nice hotel, pool is nice although sunbeds are in short supply!! Right near beach, lovely curry house on the beach whcih is worth going to. You wont need £1000 spending money. Did the day trip to Cairo from there and was £180 each i think, but to be honest didnt really rate - Ciaro is a shit hole. Do the Luxor / Valley of the Kings trip, far FAR nicer place but VERY hot as its further south.

A bloke I used to work with has been to Baron Palms twice, he rates the hotel and food highly!

Buy a decent snorkel and mask and get into the sea as soon as possible

I drive up to gatwick in 3 hrs for a nites stay up there , its been a long 3 yrs since ive been abraod , as soon as i get back ive decided im starting to save up for .......ssshhhhhh dont tell the missus , an escort cos .

the poor girl will think ive booked another hol with how exitcited ill be

 

we paid £155 each from the rep. Seen it for about 120 elsewhere. I got told to go to Luxor but we had to go and see the pyramids lol.

Tiran island is good for snorkling. £15 each for the full day with food.

 

bloody hell thats not bad , i thought the trip to the piramids where £350 each.

looks like ill be having some spending money when i get back then

You'll be dissapointed with the Pyramids mate, really overated, Luxor was AWESOME! Valley of the Kings, Tutunkamen (sp!) etc, all brilliant, long day though, 4am pickup from Baron Palms!!

Dont bother taking shit tablets with you though, buy them when you get there, loads better than imodium. There is a pharmacy on the shopping parade in the resort. Also dont buy anything from the shopping parade there, its loads of money compared to elsewhere!!
