Whats funny is I think the best thing I have washed a car with is Turtlewax car shampoo. Just feels like it's doing the business. We had some autoglym shampoo and that was shite. The suds weren't even that apparent when compared to good ol' turtlewax.

LOL exactly the same as me mate! I wash the folks cars with Turtlewax and it feels far better at doing the job although would never use it on my own (no real reasons why)
Autoglym suds up if you put a decent amount in your bucket.
I have tried quite a few of the availiable washes out there but i think what water you have makes a huge difference to how they work.
Where i live is a hard water area and i think this may be the main reason why i get the results i do, may be different for different people.
For me the only one i have used to date that i get on with is Meguairs Gold Class but i will still be trying some others once i run out.
Tried that and found it very poor, felt like the wash mitt was sticking to the paint.
Have tried all the Dodo washes and again found them to be poor, which is a suprise as i like the Dodo Juice products normally
You are joking right???
This is a degreaser and will strip all layers of protection from the paint.

cheap as chips from morrisons, and works suprisingly well!
I have a chemical company near me that makes alot of the car cleaning products that the pro's use before they are bottled into their expensive bottles and marked up to fuck. It is, without any shadow of doubt, the most amazing car shampoo I've ever used and its really not expensive. 5 litres is about Ł20. I've had a 1 litre bottle they gave me last time I was there on the go since late last year and its still half full.
I get a really good wheel cleaner from them too, its so cheap you wouldn't believe it.

Nope shit for me too, used it for the last time about 1/2 years ago, it would start off with some suds(not loads just some) and by the time ive done less than half of the car it looks like im just washing the car with plain water, no suds what so ever
, and it would leave horrid marks all over the windows if you didnt dry it properly.
Ive now been using chemical guys wash and wax for nearly a year and its ten times better, you get tons of suds from a small half cap full, must be about 6-7 inches of it in a normal sized bucket, and theres still loads after finishing the car, so much so i normally use the left over to wash my wheels.
Leaves a really smooth/clean/shiney surface, almost like its been polished, oh and it smells good

used to use the turtle wax as it was cheap, wasnt very soapy if you didnt lash loads in though...I'm using zymol now and find it awsome. Loads of suds and it doesnt leave the car all streaky....smells nice too !
Hi all new here with my buisness i use the Autoglym brush wash concentrate as it is designed to lube the brushes with massive suds (people who wash there cars with a brush just shouldnt really) so if it can lube a brush it defo lube a mit, the only thing is it has no water repelant in it like the conditioner, the conditioner dosnet seem to sud as much unless you use loads, it still lubs really well, and also it does have anti rust inhibitors too. Gold class is nice to use but the best concentrate ive found is the dodo juice.
