I know my insurance states that you have to be over 25 to get a classic policy but i dunno if that counts for any other insurance company

HIC have done my RS's for years on classic policies. Cheap as chips as well. Specialist cars require a specialist insurer. i.e. NOT Kwik Shit!

Bet they do, I would put money on them not offering like for like though on modified parts like most non specialist insurer making the policy next to completely worthless

kwik fit will never be as good as a proper classic policy. thought you had to be 25 though.

Never said they would be as good but if he cant get insurance on a classic policy main streem is the only option think it stinks that a guy age 23 wants to have a nice car but cant because of the insurance makes sence to think if your going to have a good car your more likely to look after it guess the insurance companies dont think the same way

i've had classic insurance since i was 20 on my '69 cortina.

but my orion turbo is on a regular limited mileage policy. to be fair i'd rip someones hands off for that Ł690 quote.
i pay a poxy Ł977 a year with flux. full no claims. its my birmingham postcode that doesn't help.
