Default whats the best cam choice for my car and spec

as above what cam would work the best with my spec and future mods.

full spec at the mo.

stage 3 big valve head
ported polished and cross matched inlet and adaptor plate
mk's old inlet plenum (field motorsport inlet)
efi fuel rail
dark green injectors
autospecialists tubular manifold
cr turbos stage 3 t3 hybrid
genuine ford gaskets and bolts
1600cvh bottom end
woszner low compression pistons
pec steel rods
arp bottom end bolts throughout
fully lightened and balanced crank and flywheel ect and tufridged crank

at the moment the cam im unsure of as i got the head complete but its got (4 85t) stamped on it

and im looking at a jamsport manifold and cossie turbo of a brian hansen manifold and gt28 not sure which yet

you sure that isn't a 2 instead of a 4?
if it is then just stick with it. the ony real option is to change to a newmans cam and specify what you're after and they should be able to calculate something for your needs.

the problem with the next cam up, in no regards to life expectancy, is that it is quite a laggy item, the 285T is a decent cam.
just give it more boost fella, but upgrade your injectors, IMO they won't get you fuelling right for that power level as myself has found out. (they're 390cc injectors, i'd reckon on 240bhp in an ideal well designed engine)

You'll want cossie dark blues for 250HP (iirc) there good enough for 250.

You want to run the duty cyclone around 70% at full boost,So you dont want a injector your having to push 100% as you'll burn it out.

Also dump the go-tech.

Cam choice would be a newman cam,

but dark blues are standard 4x4 cossie injetors and the dark greens are bigger than the dark blues ...... so how can the blues flow more fuel.... when on a cossie you need to throw them in the bin and get green ....

sorry i dont understand to much about injectors .....

I was just told by a tuner fella dark blues will fuel 240-50HP that's all i said as there's a debate over green's and i know about dark blues as i asked a tuner (A reptuable one)

Basically you can push a injector to the limit but how long will it last? Same a turbo a T3 running 25PSI but yet you could get a T3 STG3 and run 18PSI it's less stress etc.

An injector will burn out at 100% duty cyclone, You need to have the injector sat at 70% use at full power iirc (Ideally)

this shit is confusing lol well ive got a stage 3 t3 but to run the 250bhp that will be pumping 25psi lol and i would of thought that the dark greens would be a bit over kill on it ..

as on an escort cosworth the dark blues will do 280bhp and the dark greens will do 350bhp and thats with out pushing to hard as i had an escort cosworth built by nms on a live map and that was mapped at 30psi running around 365bhp and matching torque ...... thats why i find it confusing.

injectors on a cossie and an rst fuel differently, the cossie is more efficient and hence don't need as big injectors, similarly a zetec turbo is more efficient that a cvh, therefore less fuel needed per bhp.
the dark greens will fuel at that level, but how well and how much will they be pushed to achieve that is not known by me.

p.s. forget go-tech
