Yokohama Parada Spec2 - your experiences
Anybody using these tyres? I have heard they are prone to aquaplane. I've had some pretty bad experiences aquaplaning in the past so want some real life feedback before I write these tyres off!
even worse in the snow, in the heat of summer excellent tyre, rest of the not to gr8 as we live in england ur'll prob only get the full use of the tyre for like 3 months. lol
move to africa gr8 tyre there. lmao

Awesome in the dry, not bad on wet roads (better than Toyo Proxes IMO).... but fucking scary on damp tracks. Did a trackday at Mallory and it was cold and damp and I daren't carry any speed into bends as the arse end kept trying to go
Horse shit....................
Had them on my 3dr........Like has been said, good in the dry but a total waste of time in the wet....to the point of dangerous imho.......
At the end of the day, your tyres are the only thing that holds you to the road..........get the right ones!!!!!

I have them on the front and they arn't great at all in the wet, on a dry road they are super grippy but as you know a dry road in the UK is few and far between.

I removed mine off the daily when winter came.
Cheap, sporty tyre for those on a budget, as said. Zero wet weather confidence, there doesn't seem to be any transition. One second you have grip, the next you don't.

ive got them on my golf at the mo, and they stick like shit to a blanket in the dry, in the wet there a bit tepremental, and in the snow your better off catching the bus lol, i think they are great on little fwd cars but i wouldnt advise them on anything rwd and your more likely to understeer than oversteer
I've had these for about 2 years on my 4x4 Saff, great tyre IMHO even in the wet and snow. Prone to tramlining on some roads, that's my biggest complaint. They are also MUCH wider than they claim to be, great for grip, crap for arch/arch liner clearance.

yeh there a pain in the arse when theres differnt road surfaces, probily the best tyre to show howmuch balls ya got cos in the dry they have no limits
Not had these myself but have been in cars with them.
I've had F1, T1R T1S, Uni rainsports, sportrac 3's etc, now on HANCOOK V12 VENTUS EVO, makes the F1 looks like the shitty tyre it really is compared with the hype about it.
NO way will I change from Hancooks, would very happily pay 3 times the price of F1's for the Hancooks, simply light years ahead, and yes I do push it even in the wet, a point to note about tyres is most are using SUMMER tyres, the reason they don't work well below 7C is because of the material it gets hard, the Hancooks are not like this temps don't affect it, I didn't know this till talking to a tyre tech person.

I had these on a few cars and find them to be a good tyre, if you push any car in the wet with big power its going to be a handfull regardless of tyre choice but i find them to be a very good budget tyre.

Spot on tyres in the dry, only things I'd put on the back of a wide ass Focus RS at the time. But in the wet they were lethal. Still a good tyre and lasts a good while. But there are better options out there as an all round tyre

They are usaully alot dearer than the likes of Kumho, which are very good tyres for the money.
Quite often they are the same price as Continental's ETC.
A lot of the Subaru/Evo/big power German stuff are using Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's.
Have them on my car and they are fantastic in both wet and dry.
Only a couple for £ more than Toyo T1R's.... but a much better tyre (IMO)

That was from national tyres.

not too bad, i had kumho's in that size on my RS7's, off the top of my head they retail at £60ish, but i personally prefer the kumho's, maybe not quite as grippy in the dry, but i much prefer the way they grip on wet/damp.
Ssesanta'a are ace tyre as said, don't let the name Hancook fool you into thinking it is some cheap brand, they're not cheap and neither is the performance, the most confidence inspiring tyre by a massive margine I have ever tried to date.
