no standard ford multi layer gasket with standard headbolts , torgued then to 110 degrees (standard 90 degrees) ians says torgue to yeild , and hes never had any probs, the only prob is when running very high boost when the head starts to lift, then ian advice is 11mm or 12mm stud conversion which is what iam going for.

cheers paul

you will have to cc your engine mate because the standard fibre gasket is 1.6mm thick and the std focus one is only 0.6mm you might be better off with the st170 gasket as its 0.9mm and there both good for well over 500hp and both only about Ł30 .

is the st170 gasket the same fitment then?

tbh its a budget engine with a spaer plate to lower the compression so i wont bother goin all out on it as i have another engine that im building proerly now i know how well they perform
