as above whats the best method to get all the old ford underseal and stone chip off the underside of the car

wanting to paint underneath arches and everything

is a grinder with flat pad a good idea

ive never done this before and was just gona paint with hammirite but they dont do a colour near enough to match my paint

any help much appriciated

its on an xr4x4 if that helps

but rerally want to know what to use to get the old paint off

so i can get a nice finish on the underside

heard some people say use petrol and a rag to get the shite off the underside, apparently its really messy , ill be doin the same in a weeks time on my mk4 cabby

I bought a few attachable wire brush tools for my drill and some sanding discs. Its long winded and make sure you wear protective glassess/goggles when using the drill. you will be covered in all sorts of mud/dirt waxoyl etc..

I second that!! goggles are a must as pieces of the wire brush attachments break off and they are not nice shot in to your eyes
