Default GT2554r on 1.6CVH

My question would be
what RPM spool up to a 1.6 CVH?
8.2:1 CR
stage 2 (16psi)
big valve ported head


I want to use street
pressure all RPM (2000-6500)

won't see boost till 3000rpm, maybe a little later depending on what stage2 really infers as all turbo centres have different definitions.

If the cars fully mappable then Yes you can expect the turbo to come in early but it wont be able to hold out upto 6500 probably 5000-5700rpm max.
if on mfi then not too sure.
also you may not need to run 16psi boost depends on what power you was after?

i misread your post, sorry, yeah a GT2554 should boost as low as 2000-2500rpm, but as above i'd eexpect it to be alittle restrictive over 6000rpm.
probably better to aim for a GT28 variant instead.

gt2554r will easily makes that!
but then you can get that from a stage 2 t3.
