i know the escort mk3 and mk4 have them..and the xr2 fiesta..
what else has a 1.6cvh?
looking to buy one but if i can open my range of cars will be easier to find one...
if anyone has one or knows anyone selling one, would be even better!![Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

wouldnt realy want to take it out of an xr2 or xr3, as i would fancy keeping the car
well i would take the engine out if it was rotten and going cheap etc...but wouldnt buy one in good condition....
im looking for a mk4 1.6l (4door ones are more common) thats got no mot or tax etc...
but probly could pick up an xr2 with no mot and tax for fairly cheap

Wont be hard to find a rotten XR2 mate !!!! Most of them were as rotten as fuck !!
Agree about the XR3 though as they are def worth saving, i would have another one in a flash but almost impossible to find any in Scotland !!

i wouldnt go 1.6 zetec anyway, it would either be 1.8 or 2.0 if i did, but do think im still going cvh, but ive heard that 1.8 at alot easier to fit and need less parts to do than the 2.0...

read a few things about the zetec conversion and 1.8 seem to be the easiest but 2.0 would obviously be better power wise as its got 200cc more etc....
but rather the easy route so may.......may keep to the plan of going down the zetec route IF i can find the perfect donor car!
