Default 500 bhp advice

Hi, looking for some advice on the some essential parts for 500 bhp build, the motor and head are sorted but am now onto the expensive parts (turbo & fueling). I have been looking at a GT30 with external w/g and a swedish plenium but would be grateful for some good advice on a good combination (injectors, rail etc...). For info I have an autronic SM4 unit for the clever stuff. If you have any parts that you are thinking of parting with let me know.
Thanks in advance
Jay.

you need deep pockets it cost shed loads to do it all i am nearly at then end of my build and had no change from 20k

go for gt35rs with the rayland 2wd manifold kit for tail v44 external waste gate swidish are ok i have one for sale cause not using it due to having to mod the intercooler so i have gone back to rs500 inlet
you need to have 74mm inlet on turbo and intercooler and inlet manifold
pro alloy do a bigenough cooler to take power cause a normal 500 cooler is not big enough
you need 2 o44 fuel pumps and swirl pot
semiens 83lb if going for swedish or 8 injectors if going diff

what speck is the internals of your engine ?????????

if your on autronics you need to talk to mark sheed at m a developments i have a 500bhp set up by him on the same managment i have a gt30 with an internal waste gate and a small turbo escort cosworth inlet manifold im running about 2.6 bar of boost and its a very quick car he really knows what hes doing and most important its reliable which is a must with all the cash your putting into it! also my 500 cooler is fine at this level? and i have one 044 fuel pump? and a gt 35 is for way more power than 500bhp so will be more laggy at this level!

sorry mate, much to add to debate.

but you dont need a GT35 for 500bhp, a GT30 will get you there just as easy and be a lot more user friendly and driveable.

also, you dont need 2 x 044 pumps.
for 500bhp, 1 x 044 will be sufficient after the intank pump. or for that little level of security then go for 2 x standard 2wd pumps.

but as said already, if your planning on running the autronic then you should really make contact with Mark Shead @ M.A.Developments.

Thanks for all the advice, just sold my rs500 cooler with view to replace it with a pro alloy unit. Do you have any pics of the plenum?, how much are you looking for it and does it come with a throttle body?.

The 206.1 & the 210 were also done on an orginal 500 Cooler. Power was circa 700bhp off gas. Held the RWD Topspeed record way back in 2002 guess what also on a 500 Cooler. Never had CA probs on or off gas.
Mark suggested an upgrade at 800bhp & i will use a 'Spec-r Elite' Cooler.

2 x standard 2wd pumps will not give you any security, if one of them fails you suddenly don't have enough fuel for 500bhp, you'd be better off with one 044 pump (or use 2x 044's for security).

Whats the advantage of a GT30 over a T4 ? Would like to go down the 500bhp route at some stage. Have 400 at the mo. Engine and head are sorted for it.

Do not worry about changing the intercooler pipes to 76 mm. 60 mm pipes will be fine for over 600 BHP as long as the intercooler end tanks are designed to flow properly. All the best, Alex.
