Default Barn find cosworths anyone?

They look a little suspect to me especially the escort, can't see the 500?

Would have been happy with the Ł1 buy it now, don't think I'd pay anymore for fear of the police turning up at my door and taking em away

I know of a fairly local chap who bought a huge property which included stables and barns, when he completed and moved in there was a Range Rover in one of the barns...it wasn't new but it was the shape current at the time of buying the house, his solicitor contacted the previous owner and said "you left your car behind" and they got the reply that is comes with the house, they had no further need for it and it had not been registered for the road???

Who was it had the black RS500 stolen off a pub car park in the days when I was still in UK??? Andy someone???? that was a nice car, could this be the remains??

Surely someone can check the number plates that can be seen in the photos?

I got wind of a barn in West Yorkshire around 10 years ago that sits two unregistered 500's, an rs200 and rs1800 escort, maybe others too, never seen them pop up so I guess they are still sat there, if ever my numbers come up I'll be tracking them down, could be number 500 that got sold never to be seen again

Would anyone really show high profile and high value cars on eBay if they were stolen? I know there are scammers but you wouldn't advertise Hatton garden jewels on eBay would you...surely you would sell the cars in the underworld black market or break em up for parts?

Either there is a scam behind it, they are daft or they are up to something else or legit?

Bruce's car was stolen from Wisbech, Cambs, as far as I know...
I didn't bother clicking the link, but would be a bit of a coincidence if that's near to where the cars are!? Didn't Bruce write the first one off and the stolen one was Marks old car? If so, didn't the no. plate end 'FUR'?

I'd leave that one in the past mate, there was accusations galor over that and I truly believe that car is gone for good.

A few years back I sold windows to a guy in Calshot, near Southampton. It was a large seafront property which had been a very wealthy persons holiday home.
It was a nice sunny day and I went in my Sapphire Cosworth.
The new owner came out and looked at my car and then said ,"do you want to look at a car the previous owner left here"
We went to his large garage and inside was a E-TYpe Jag! It was in pretty good condition and when the new owner found it he thought it was to be collected,so he phoned the previous owner and was shocked when he said
"Oh that old thing ,I forgot all about it ,if its any use to you please keep it"
Now that is the sort of free gift we would all like!!!!!

Looking at this advert I bet it's a case of owner of the property is owed rent so sticks cars on eBay tenant turns up with the rent takes advert off eBay. Seen it a few times no1 would be stupid enough to stick a load of stolen cosworths on eBay like that these days, the magenta 2wd was on eBay a few months back as a rolling shell can't see a rolling shell that only sold for Ł500 being stolen then stuck on eBay.

Yeah sounds like a tenant scare tactic to get the rent. Prob sent the tenant the link and he shit himself and got the cash up together. Not a bad plan to be fair!

Just remember he wrote one off, couldn't remember which one it was...

Years ago there was a house that someone brought ( think it was abroard )
That had a massive barn with it
The doors were welded up .
When the new owner got the house he was told that everything in the barn was his ( not
That he could look coz the doors )
So he cut the doors open and there was about ( can't quite remember which figure )
But it was either 20 million or 40 million pounds worth of cars
Some other the rarest race cars and road cars
It was in a paper years ago as I can remember reading it
That's what you call a barn find

That story turned out to be a hoax.

http://www.sportscarmarket.com/news/...act-or-fiction

The owner of the barn sent a photographer there to take pictures of the cars. The pictures got posted online and all these bullshit stories appeared on the internet.
