what kit have you got? cossie engine and box is great but bloody heavy, plenty of engines out there to pick from and a t5 box is pretty big so need to check how much room you have in the tunnel.

Gearbox tunnel being able to take a T5 box will probably be your biggest problem. Not sure what size they are on those chassis.

Quite a few YB powered kit cars about and it just a point of making it all fit and work well. Intercooling is one of the pains to sort with limited space.

i had a 2.1 pinto in it before so not to much more work to get it in there , main things were moving pedal box back an inch , loosin the servo to get clearance for the downpipe and gettin a good rad to keep it cool ,and piping it up , well worth doing though even with the extra weight, power is around 300@fw with a hybrid t3 ,greens.and a chip

If I was to build another I would consider trying something different like an EVO or an AUDI engine.

Westfield make a factory build European Type Approved 7 now with the VXR Turbo engine.

Best to get a proper cage made. Try Caged for them, they did ours.

Suspension...There is tonnes to choose from. Protech are very good for the money and very light. Nitrons are probably some of the best but expensive. 4 Protechs complete are cheaper than a pair of nitron dampers alone.

wulliesxr4i - Sounds great... you should start a build thread in the projects and restoration section i'd be very interested to read it
