Ok, I want a brand new 3dr shell with all panels. I know Oppliger has them in Italy butl he's far away and is talking telephone numbers for prices.. Any other contacts?

 

the guy who owned simpsons salvage had some.. i think they were about 3.5k, i know paul@nyrs had enquired about one. Apart from that they sometimes turn up on ebay, or try 'paul s' on here, he seems to be the guy for 3dr's.

i was looking for one this time last year, took ages to find a decent shell.

 

the shells that simpsons had are still there, they sold the business to copart and they operate as "u pull it" scrap yard from there, I was there 2 weeks ago and the guy told me the shells are in the warehouse out the back that simpsons still own

Martin might be worth giving Toff on here a pm he got a new shell a couple of years ago and im sure he said at the time there were a couple more.

Supply seems to have dried up recently, there used to regularly be ones on ebay, but not for a while. If you can get a Simpsons one thats your best bet as they have been dried store since new, they claimed only to have one left and wanted 4k plus, but it sounds as if they have more than that. Lots of the other ones out there have been in damp garages and tend to be rusty.

I might be selling one of mine in the near future, all depends on another car I am after. I will drop you a pm if I do sell

the shells at £4600 are crazy prices mate the cars were 15 grand brand new nearly 20 years ago i think your in need of a reality check mate,
