Anyone know's if there is coming a ST/RS version to the new focus III.
Because they will change the Volve T5 engine with a new eco boost 2.0l Turbo direct injection one.

I did wonder this- could be a nice improvement over the 5pot motor which is a bit of a guzzler.

 

For what i heard is't goin to be nice powerplant with +-230 HP.
They have a 1.6l Turbo ecoboost 178HP to.

yeah I read that too- very similar power and torque to the current 3litre v6 but with a much better power and torque spread and 15/20% improved economy along with it weighing less- slot one in a focus and you have a nice and reponsive fairly quick motor with decent mpg .
supposed to be a smaller powerplant than the 1.6 coming to the uk aswell for some of our smaller 'city' cars like the fiesta and more so the KA.

 

isnt the smaller one the one borrowed from fiat the 1.4 turbo or something
