hi guys my mate has just rang me and said his bottom end is knocking on his focus (1.6 zetec)

now his dad has a y plate Mondeo that hes breaking.

the question is will the engine fit out of the Mondeo (1.8 zetec)??

depends what you mean by fit - it's possible to swap, but it's far from plug&play and will be much more costly than to find another 1.6

 

i mean can i get the enigine loom ecu esc.. and put it in the focus with the focus box and focus mounts.?

 

different engines, 1.6 zetec se and a 1.8 zetec e. possible with 1.8 focus mounts etc id say. just put another 1.6 in it

 

pingu - if that's what you mean than the answer is NO, it it's not possible

 

Everything is possible, its a lot of work though, as the inlet/exhaust are the opposite way round., so you will need a full exhaust system, new engine mounts, loom, ecu, keys etc from another 1.8/2.0 focus.

 

pretty sure it wont work
