Default cossie vvt cams ++ other things

here are some pics of my vvt cams++ has anyone seen these before???? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/IM000935.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...s/IM000939.jpg the spec on the cams are a bit wilder than BD 16 and are supposed to work between 2500 rpm to 8500 rpm

the other picture is my rs500 block vith liners an some sort of wireringing

oil pressure thru a two way valve that is controlled by a ecu picking up signal on rpm. The cams are from an old escort cossie that was used in touring car in 93/94 season.

yes very interesting
one question... in the rs500 block i can see what looks like a grooved bearing fitted in the bottom cap between cyls 1 and 2? how come?

Very interestings stuff.

Its got more in common with the rover system than the honda though by the looks of it.

these cams were up for sale in germany for a couple of years ago.pricy bit of kit.probably dont need it but its acool thimg if it works.as i said in the first post they are a bit wilder than BD 16´s

you could make it much more drivable low down with wild things happening when u open it up, but with the likes of modern ecus and software, this appears to be able to be done without th need for them. "unless" there is a significant hike in umph with the use of them.
