Default Can you powdercoat an ignition amplifier bracket?

As above

Can you powdercoat on a cossy or does it need to stay bare to obtain its heatsink cabability?

If i can't powder coat what about a light dusting of paint?

I would imagine it be ok , as long as its not on the back.

I'm no expert tho.

Above option sounds the best way.

Remember, this bracket serves the function to remove heat from the amplifier module.

Ideally it needs to me mounted on the body work to give thermal contact to dissipate heat .
Also, for electical noise prevention it needs electrical contact with the bodywork too.

I would recomend only painting the front and sides of the module leaving the space under the module itself bare metal too !

Thats a good idea Si. Didnt realy think of masking the area that the back of the module actually touches.

I reckon thats my best bet and just give the front face a light dusting. As thought it needed to make a contact as i thought that the module earthed out through its chassis.

Cheers
