Mate iv had more cars than you have had peas on youre plate, thats why we have this forum to ask like minded people there opinions so if you have nothing constructive to add go fook your self.PS i had a saff cosworth 8 years ago.
hard to call, but many people will buy them, then sell up after a few months once the novelty has worn off, and when they do and those wanting a second hand one have a few to choose from, the prices wont be able to stay high!

Well i will be suprised if they do

Nobody can seriously answer that Dick
It depends on the supply of the new model. If there's a long wait for new ones then i'd say 18-19k after 18 months depending on spec. If they are like the ST and can be had with your choice of options in 6 weeks more like 15k.
Or put simply, the same kind of depreciation as an fq300/r32 golf

there not a limited run so shouldn't hold the price as well as some might think, but then if not a lot of people arn't buying new cars this may hold values a bit better.
a whole 8 years ago
what diffrence does that make to anyone? my dad had one in 1989 so thats 19 years ago now and i dont think they wil loose that much valuve, especially in this current market.. people who are going to buy them will be the ones who can afford to keep them.
Well they're not building them with a stamped number, like the current Focus RS. And there's gonna be a similar number built compared to the ST. But its been a long time in development, so I doubt the price will drop on them for quite some time. Probably the lowest will be 16k maybe.
i cant see a spec'd up 30k car losing half its value in 18month sadly
. I reackond 16-23k ish depending on colour and spec. hopefully be in a position to get one myself in about 18-24months. though the question remains this is m3 csl (top end of rs) money which would i rather own hmmm

Thanks a lot every one i was thinking around the 15 to 16k mark my self i would buy a new one but i lost a lot of cash on the st 2,so just bought a mondeo st 24 for a run around till i get the escos on the road cheers.
id personally drive the car and decide for myself

and how do you know you have had more cars than me??

PS,i had a one eye dalmation dog 16 years ago
thats about as relevant as you owning a sapp 8 years ago
I'd say no, and if it does then i doubt it will be much. At the end of the day, they are very cheap now anyway but the new RS shouldn't really affect the price in my opinion. They were a limited run and will always be sought after by enthuasiast to an extent.
As for the new RS i reckon about 17-18k in 18 months

People in general are NOT buying new cars at the moment.
My guess is, like just every single other new car at the moment they will be available for below list very soon after launch which WILL have a effect on the used prices. They wont be difficult to get hold of and with new deals about the prices will tumble.
Just IMO

the 'NEW' Focus RS will probably not be out in 18 months
being ongoing and delayed for ages now - the clip that holds the gadget that is next to revoknuckle will be faulty and need redesigning.
