Default My modded 2wd inlet .

What ya think ?

Intake moved from under the manifold and the elbow removed, then had

the adaptor plate for the new t/b welded on and flowed in.

The butterfly is bigger than the previous rs 500 one that was fitted as

well, 70mm instead of 65mm I think .

Now running 4 x 1000cc injectors rather than the previous 8 x 803 greens.

Also got extra provision for more air for the als on my new dta

management and also runs the stock weber marelli tps.

Inlet is now a complete 1piece welded up with a 14 mm spacer, and

all powder coated silver.

Hope you like

with my very basic understandings of plenums, are you not likelly to get quite a disparity of flow between cylinders with it having no taper?

Looks nice but I thought inlet plenums work better when there is a more central intake into the plenum!? I stand to be corrected though!!

im pretty sure Karl at NMS did a bit of investagting on seedish style plenums and said that alot of them are not so good, iirc his plenum is along a similar line as yours but feed into it half way down

You might want to look at that throttle body. A mate of mine has bought the exact same one.

Problem with them is that they have a 62% bigger throttle plate area than a normal hb one and a linear linkage rather than rising rate. Might make it a bugger to drive on the limit.

They certainly dont work too well with single point nos, even with a taper

The rising rate linkage is designed to increase resolution at low throttle plate openings.

In basic terms on an original tb 10mm of pedal travel might have been the equivalent to the first 16th of throttle plate open. With a linear linkage that 16th might become 8th and with the bigger throttle plate that might be the equivalent to a quarter.
