Default Polishing a magenta saff....

I have recently had my magenta saff painted, but unfortunately the engine has let go so its in my garage having a rebuild. Last week whilst fitting the rebuilt engine back in a noticed that the paint has gone quite dull, it has sort of like a haze on it when the light catches it. Anyone any ideas why and how to rectify it. It has been suggested that it just needs another good mopping. I have tryed a waxing but this doesn't to improve it much.

Also what the best polish to use on magenta paintwork
Cheers all

Wax won't remove the dullness, try something like Clearkote Red Moose or Autoglym Super Resin which is slightly abrasive and contains fillers. Once you have the shine back, then wax to protect it.

Red Moose can also be used for the rest of the car.

Ideally you want polish, glaze sealant then wax.
