As Im going soon and have never been on before so dont know the track at all. Anything to look out for apart from the obvious things like walls and other cars

seriously though, it's a quick circuit if you get it right

 

just watch your mirrors alot for a red sierra coming past at a fair rate of knots..!!

When you breakdown its usually cold and windy

 

Please don't become a point and squirt merchant, if your car is fast on the straights, but someone is sat on your bumper lap after lap in the corners, just let them past. That is my one and only complaint on any trackday, i was pushing an rs4 round croft for many laps, and the cunt didn't have a clue how to drive the corners, even though the cones were out to mark the corners!
Just take your time and build it up gradually.

remember to check your mirrors and follow the cones. Its a lot quicker if you do that, the racing line is there for a reason as i learned

Also make sure you are prepared and in gear and slowed down ready for the corners, this was one thing i took quite a few laps to master.

Which group are you in? Im hoping its not wet otherwise ibiza will be no fun whatsoever.

Hopefully i will be going to croft on the sunday. Will anyone take me out round croft cause i have never been round the track and i have aways wanted to. Do you have to pay if your just spectating.

I raced there in my XR2 back in May - great track.

Watch out for the kerbs and some of the ruts next to them, I wouldn't take the entry kerb at Clervaux, and at the chicane just clip the right kerb but take as much of the left hand one as you want.

The dangerous ruts I was warned off are on the exit of the chicane on the inside of the circuit, and also at the Sunny In / Sunny Out corners.

take your time, then gradually speed up when you know the track,braking points, turning points etc...

a very good track.

Go too fast round the hairpin and get the back end out then youll look a plank infront of the crowds watching from the pit wall

Nice fast circuit!! I had great fun there a while back although it all went a bit wrong as the section between Tower Bend and Sunny in is VERY fast and one lap i got a bit over confident and went over the grass managed to get it back on track on the entrance to Sunny out semi-gracefully

 

I did a 360 there on my first lap all you can hear on the video is everyone laughing at me

the back section of the track is fast, and i think i was doing that around 100,

take ya time and build up speed,

as said though, if a car is suddenly behind you

HE IS FASTER, so let him past

many people on track dont allow th 205's and a like caras past as they "think" their 400bhp car is quicker

 

Cheers folks, Im not one of the fools who wont move out of the way. I hate it myself on the (private) roads when people wont shift out the way when you are all over their back end.

Id rather have someone pretty quick, but not too quick, in front for a few laps anyway so I can keep pace till I learn the track.

Shame I cant hire the track to myself for a day to go and practice like fuck
