Hey guys,
A gentleman who I subcontract work for wants me to purchase a telephone line in order for him to direct clients directly to me. It's essential that the line has a local area code or at least an 0845 number.
I was looking into Vonage and was wondering if anybody had used it before and how good it is at it's job.
I need the following:
Non-Mobile Number.
Voicemail.
Caller ID.
Call Waiting.
Call Divert if busy/not answered. It will go to my work mobile.
Any help/advice welcome as I need to provide him with prices within the next couple of days.
Cheers
Tim

Hi,
Give SaffManLee a PM off here...he might be able to point you in the right direction
He helped Stu sort out his telephony system...

Rather than loads of expense dude, set your self up with a SIP account.
www.sipgate.co.uk
You can then have an 0845/0870 or indeed a local number and forward it off to a mobile or land line easily. It offers all you need buddy! I think!

Cheers Lee I shall see what the gaffer says.

Just check mate to ensure how much they charge for forwarding calls....
I do use these guys and forward out an NGN (0870) to my mobile and have never topped it up as yet.
When my mobile logs onto my home access point I can actually make calls as if I was that 0870 but out on the internet.
All pretty cool stuff to be honest
