Angry cossie fuel pump connections..leaking.

how the hell do you stop these bastards leaking. its the banjo connection and union nut. they're brand new with new washers, i just cant stop them weaping fuel, can anyone give me a good tip on how to stop that, cheeRS,

should of kept the onion bud,lol,u sure its coming from the union and not seeping thru the plasitc pipe???

put a spanner on the hex of the filter to conterhold and tighten a bit more?

had the exact same problem on mine recently with old banjo bolts; replaced the whole lot with new banjo bolts and hose -

little tip is to get a pair of grips on the fuel filter hex and do the bolts up super tight; just be careful not to pinch the hose

hi ya mate. i got rid of the plastic pipe as it was fooked got a new one now. yea should of kept the onion less hassle. are you going to turbo yours????
needs it if you havent already.

i'll get under there tomorrow and have a look as its horrible outside .Is there any sealer that you can get to help seal the joints as you tighten it up.???

they eventually cure themselves and stop leaking ,thats when the petrol has all leaked out

i have seen that sometimes the washers seem too big.and you need to make sure that they are in a central position when you tighten them up,worth checking.
