i think the suspension is the same as RS stuff, dont quote me tho....springs may be lower dampers maybe harder, not 100% rest of it will be the same tho.

Alternator will bolt on and work however it mite not have the same output rating (in amps) as the S2 alternator.

Starter motor will also bolt on and work however, im not sure irf the S2 starter is any different to cope with the heat from the turbo??

I would be keepin them as spares just in case

door cards
panels (not bonnet)
all shocks
shafts
bottles (in bay)
rear seat
headlining
glass
e/w c/l
bumpers(to the untrained eye a 3i front is almost same as a rst 1)
all lil trim nits here and there are same throughout the range (sill covers fan cowls etc etc) just mots of it it crap and not worth a bean

pump is lower oupt put i think

worth takin off the bonnet stay and the rocker cover (not good for rs tho cos of mounts for xover pipe) just to have in case of future plans

Fuel pump depends on the XR3i! If its EFi then no, they have an intank type, MFi then yes as it uses jetronic set up like the RST!
