OK. Thanks. I just got back my housing with a new wastegate shaft and fitted it. I think the lever on the wastegate must be in a slightly different position. I couldn't get the actuator shaft back onto the lever and had to adjust it's length - I added two turns of length.
The car is a race car, so I won't be able to use it until I'm at the track again. Is it best to start with the actuator shaft longer and after a couple of runs shorten it to get to the correct boost?
I don't want the car to run too much boost.
Thanks,
Charlie

I've just been speaking to CR Turbos, the company that modified my wastegate shaft. His advice for refitting is that the actuator shaft hole should be short of the lever arm connection by the width of the hole, so that when you pull the shaft to fit it to the arm you only need to pull it 4mm or so. And some common sense measurement - +/- one turn of the actuator shaft = +/- 1lb of boost.
