I've got the chance to liberate a 1.6 205 GTI from a family member, and I want to know a fair price for it so there can be no falling out and it's all above board.

Similar advert on the 'trader looked at about £1k. Is that too much or about right? I'd be more comfortable with about £750?

Worth between 500 quid and 1500 IMO.

500 being one needing serious work and 1500 work a very clean example with no mechanical faults.

 

around £800 any less and its a bargain

 

500 tops id pay,bought a better one for 600 a few years back

 

struggling to sell my ph2 sorrento green non sunroof 1.6 for £500 and non sunroof cars are usually the ones everyone wants

I would say not much more than £500. Offer £500 with a view to go to £600 absloute max

 

i wouldnt pay more than 6-700 personally.

 

Id say its worth 750.

Im selling mine soon and im looking for £275. Got a few nice dents , needs a clutch and got a knocking up front. Had new lower arms, new dirveshafts/cv joints, 1.9 alloys , airflow metre. Goes well for a 1.6 though and has never let me down
