Default Original Monte wheels

Hello,

I'm wondering if the original Monte wheels allow a "normal" big brake kit (305x28 rotors with AP Racing 6600 calipers) as the more common Escos wheels don't.

The most common Escos wheels have been designed verry inefficient, my current setup needs 20mm spacers per wheel. Someone offers me the original Monte OZ 8x16 wheels, i hope to loose the spacers with this wheels.

Regards,

Mark

Haha, noticed that topic ofcourse. Can't afford these wheels now and i do actually like the look of 16" rally wheels on the Escos.

I've got spacers on mine & I'm not running big brakes - I like the way they fill out the arches properly but mainly I like the fact that I've increased the track of the car considerably (so it corners faster) without having to buy wider wheels & tyres which would have slowed it down on the straight bits.
