Default fitted 500cooler today and need a little advice:(With pics)

Part 1:
here are the pics of the brackets:

drivers side:

passenger side:

Now pics of fitting at top: As you can see its a tight fit!
Drivers side:

passenger side:

Now my question is this: do u think the brackets seem located ok? I feel the passenger side one is a little to close to edge but theres no more room to move it???

PART 2

Heres the hose fitted from intercooler to thottlebody
TOP:

SIDE:

Am not happy about the fit, anyone else got a pic of theirs? I think mine dont fit cause i cant line up the intercooler straight with the t/body, but theres no room to move the cooler over any more???

Oh and finally heres the cooler:

Any comments would be appreciated thanks in advance

cheers Steve, I rekon maybe the little extra height i would get without the rubbers might sort that angle on the hose.
BIG washer will be purchased tomorrow

I would send it back and get one that fits properly!
My ProAlloy one fits perfect
I wouldn't personaly fit it witout the rubber washers either as they are there as a kind of damper remember the engine and hoses will move if the cooler is too rigid it puts a greater strain on the hoses and brackets!

You tend to find that the Radtec ones need a little jiggling to get em to fit.

Mine needed a bit of "modding", but I didn't buy it for the looks, and Pro-Alloy weren't even around at the time.

Spadge - when you paid what I paid for mine, I couldn't give a fuck if I had to custom mount it on the roof

Having said that, most Radtecs ae a straight fit.

I would use the rubber washers and sleeves though! I did for the rad, and cooler - where is the engine movement take up supposed to go?

Rich i got mine for a very reasonable price to but i would have still returned it if it didn't fit properly!
Switches one doesn't seem wide enough on the brackets and i don't think he should have to use big fook off washers to lash it on
Agree about the rubber washers hence saying so in my earlier post

tbh I obtained mine at a very reasonable price too, the cooler fits just seems a little off central or that one of the mounts aint long enough maybe my car is twisted

Will await Keith at Radtecs response

Hello Switch , fitted one to Pauls car our sales Director week before this was sent didnt have this problem looks for what ever reason that the spacing between fitment holes is different on your car.We can alter the brackets on yours if the fitment worrys you. Let us have an address and we will get it picked up and altered for free.We sell upto 30 of these a month and problems with the pattern are virtually unheard of, but if a customer receives a problem i hope we are quick to resolve it. Feedback from real customers apprecited.
