sump???

Default sump???

hi there im currently tryin to strip the bottom end of me rs as its has gone...2 massive holes been gashed in the sump

but i cant seem to get the sump off? is there any nuts behind the plate on the gearbox?..if so does that mean the gearbox has to cum out?
any info help would be great

SHOULD come off once the bolts are removed there are the two tricky ones that are tucked up by the flywheel. Take the cover off out the way. remove starter motor and alternator....

Once all the bolts are off , use a pry bar to lever the sump of mate, just work your way round until it loosens and falls off.

If its been along a time it will seem stuck..

yeh i got all the other 1s off an the 1s behind the alternator...dnt the gearbox have to cum off for the plate or isit just a couple o nuts??

just take the splach gaurd of the behind the starter, then you can get to the rear two bolts,

as said, it might be gasket sealered on,

if you think taking it off was fun, wait till you put it back on lol

piece of piss mate, check my guide in this section, its a sticky, is time consuming though!
