Default Am i lucky or unlucky, place your bets..... (engine failure)

Well the snotty old YB I through into my 3door as a temporary measure has died, but the question is, can it be resurected?

Symptoms:
Engine still runs fine, goes really well
Water is coming from between the block and the head
The coolant is full of oil (lovely brown sludge)

I figure its one of the following:

a) Head gasket

b) Cracked Block

c) Cracked head

Its a 205 block, on ARP's

Going to pull it apart tonight, but what does everyone think will be the outcome, will it be back together tomorrow evening with just a new headgasket, or am I going to need a new block and/or head

Just took the head off, looks like its only the gasket.

Gone between the oil and water ways but not the combustion chamber.

Probable cause by the looks of it is corrosion, which will be my fault as I ran in the summer without antifreeze in it for ages.

Lesson learned there then, lol

Hopefully get it back together tomorrow night as busy during the day

I already knew full well about the antifreeze, but you know what its like if you have none of it on the shelf and you change a hose and then want to use the car, lol

Phil, cant remember what torque settings I used for the ARP's, whatever I was recomended off here at the time, think I used the grease last time but if I havent got any spare this time I will just do it with the oil setting (is it 100 for oil and 80 for arp lube IIRC?)

Will get on the lookout for the bits to rebuild the 200 block up properly as soon as the nova and calibra are finished (hopefully in june) as im sure although I was lucky this time, its only a matter of time for this engine.
