2nite started fittin my head i have efi casting but have conversion plate to run mfi still but can convert at later date. Conversion plate from vulcan engeering has four hole for injectors but then linked to mfi has 4 more injectors so have bit of dilemma should i be tryin weld in some injectors i dont know need some advice please boys

i think he has'nt removed the mfi plate that holds the mfi injectors between head and mfi manifold and he has bolted the efi conversion plate to it.

MFI setup

Head, plate that holds the mfi injectors then a inlet manifold

mfi to efi setup

Head, adaptor plate then efi inlet manifold

what i think he has done is

Head,plate that holds the mfi injectors, adaptor plate then to efi inlet. thus causing to have holes.

 

If hes using an adaptor plate to allow fitement of MFi equipment to an EFI head, it should just be a case of putting the plate on the end, and thats it!

 

series 1 inlet manifodl is all one piece and u cant take the injector plate off which u should b able to do to fit conversion plate dont worry boys im gettin custom plate made up now
