i think he has'nt removed the mfi plate that holds the mfi injectors between head and mfi manifold and he has bolted the efi conversion plate to it.

MFI setup

Head, plate that holds the mfi injectors then a inlet manifold

mfi to efi setup

Head, adaptor plate then efi inlet manifold

what i think he has done is

Head,plate that holds the mfi injectors, adaptor plate then to efi inlet. thus causing to have holes.
