You'll need to undo the bottom bolts aswell ideally.
I have had them out before without undoing the bottom bolts but its a right slag to do, undo the bolts it will be quicker in the long run

If you don't have an air impact gun (whatever it's in english...), Try pulling strongly the bottom of the shock to the side while undoing the nut at the top. This way the shaft won't rotate.

yeah but i havet got no tool to get in about the bolt tried shifters spanners etc but no go, i'll try again today JesseT i havent got an air impact gun but i'll try the pullin at the bottom of the shocker...thats the kind of answer im looking for safechav
Your meant to use a 6mm allen key in the centre of the shaft, but ive never had one whenever ive needed one, i find putting the ratchet on the nut and just sharply turning it will free the nut as there is a lot of resistance between the shaft and top mounting bush
well i got them off tonight by simply pulling the bottom of each shocker towards me & they all came off without a problem, a little tip for the future i think cheers JesseT
