Thank God it all looked pretty sound under there, I scubbed it up and waxoyled the bare arch
A pic of the arch after I waxoyled it...

Another one...

And the finished article after the putting the fucking liner back in lol

All in all not too bad and I was pretty pleased with the inner wing!

Yeah it sounds well 'ard, I've fucked 3 skag whores in the back already and been mistaken 4 times this afternoon for a shotgun wielding drug dealer. Coooool!
looks good mate, ive just done same to mine mate, (i still haven't refitted the arch liner yet) only drove mine round the block once since i fitted the K&N and the difference in sounds was unbelievable, whooo chatter! i really couldn't beleive a standard air box muffles so much sound, hope its not to noisey though when driving it all the time! going to fit the arch liner back on sunday as waxoil is dry now.

I couldn't let the waxoyl totally dry since I had to drive it today
But it should be okay since I cleaned up the mating face of the arch liner and it was bone dry when I refitted it. If not I'm sure I'll be doing the other 3 when the weather is a bit warmer lol
The K&N is pretty noisy like to be honest, not an unpleasant noise but it howls a bit if you're doing over 3000rpm in any gear. Ahhhh I feel 19 again lol
