Default Sapphire info.

My boss owns what is believed to be the last RHD 4x4 Sapphire Cossie of the line,we have the paperwork from Ford to confirm this.My question surrounds the colour, we have been told it is the only one factory painted in Mallard green and as im at the Welsh motor show this weekend with the car i thought id better confirm if thats the case as someone is bound to pick me up on it.Does anyone know any different or have any useful info as Ford arent always right?.It has full leather and all the extras and has covered just over 17,000 miles.

Ford have told us it was the only RHD one they painted that colour as it was the last one off the line,if there werent any others i would believe them as it hasnt been resprayed i was more concerned that there was more than one as that wouldnt have suprised me with Ford. Thanks for the info matey.

Thats interesting,is that RHD or LHD? as they led us to believe and we have owned the car for a long time that they only had the last LHD one and of course we have the Ford paperwork,it would be interesting if that is the case as it would open up all sorts of legal implications and possibilities.Perhaps you can supply the proof that we require?.

I will make enquiries next week as im back in work,i have lots of contacts inside Ford though i daresay they will have an out by stating its the last one of a certain specification but i need to re-read the provenance for this car as they may be in breach of contract(We have the paperwork from Ford that states it is the last RHD 4x4 Sapphire Cosworth off the production line). It still appears to be the only car to leave the factory in Mallard green and the rest will have to wait.

I will let you know how i get on,the owner knows the chairman of Ford in Europe so it shouldnt be an issue to get the info unless they have misled us in which case i daresay they will be awkward. As i said i will re-read the certificates from Ford to see if they have an out as it has quite an effect on the value of this car.
