ive just returned home from the hospital today after breaking my leg in 2 places & pulling my leg bone out of my socket in the foot...

it all started on xmas night when all the lads go out in the little village where i live, every body is having a laugh & a joke a few sanbucas & tiquillas later every body is getting the head right on & before you know it the bell rings for last orders then every body gets even more nips on the go just to finish us off so were all sent on our way...

so there we are walking up to a party when i go jumping on a mates back for a laugh on the way but i slip & my leg bends round so my heal is touching my calf.i have never broke a bone before & i can tell you it is the worst pain ever..

so as my brother thinks he is a bity of a war hero when he is pissed for being to iraq,bosnia & kosivo etc he gives me a firemans lift home but drops me on the same leg which was fucking agony by the way...

then we phone an ambulance who tells us that they will be 4 fuckin hours so im sweating & shaking on the living room floor then my dad comes in pissed & falls over me cracking his head on a table (no real harm done) so my brother being the hero saidd he'd drive me to the local hospital 9 miles away & he gets pulled over by the plod for drink driving & put in the cells for 6 hours

so all in all it is the worst xmas ever

P.S. the socks & pants where nice

i think the ambulance was that long becouse of the surcumstances of a broken leg & not something life threatining

How many people do you reckon the ambulance had to deal with that night, needed resus, life support, rushing to hospital etc. etc. They don't need to rush to someone who had broken their leg just for them to confirm, then a doctor to confirm..

Ive just recovered from breaking my ankle, i was in a cast for 6weeks then 6weeks of..... get this the doc said "you dont need physio son just keep walkin on it grit your teeth and go through the pain" !!!!!! The bastard NHS never even x-rayed my ankle to make sure it the bone had nitted, just sent me on my way.

Keep your chin up theres plenty of shite on the tele to not keep you occupied !!!! Thank god i went back to work !!!!!!!!!!!!!

i spoken to my solicitor & he says if i file a complaint about the ambulance saying they will be 4 hrs he reckons my brother could get off with the drink driving becouse of the surcumstances. so thats made me feal allot better if it works cos i feal guilty as fuck

i broke my leg in 2 places (fib and tib) 3 months ago and that really hurt and only another 2 months till go bac to work
