Default saff cossie over fueling

having a few probs my my cossie at the mo

it keeps overfueling, done it 3 times now in about 3 weeks

was just sat there in it last nite with the engine ticking over then it died and wouldn't start again, you have to leave it about 30min til it starts again

had a new fuel pump fitted n the wiring re done about a month ago, and a full set up if that could be anything to do with it?

any ideas

3 multi loom plugs over the back of the engine bay ...
i can bet if they have not been sorted out its due to one of them .. they are a real pain in the arse .... either that or map sensor
mine will be done ready for next year ...

easiest way is to pull the connections apart and use a good switch lubricant on them .. not wd40 tho .. just push em in and out a few times ...

As has been mentioned, if the (blue) water temp sensor that feeds the ECU fails, it thinks it is -52°C and runs permanent cold enrichment to compensate .

If it is one of the sensors that is monitored, then yes it would (such as TPS, water temp, MAP sensor, battery voltage) .

Just unscrews and is a direct replacement. HOWEVER, I have know it to be the wires that fracture where they go into the plug when disturbed and not actually the sensor itself....
