can anyone tell me which of the fuel pump terminals are which?
i'm assuming the black one is the earth and the yellow one is live. it's just that i am building up a shell and the wiring plugs have been cut off. thanks

the live feed on my s2 down to fuel pump is black with a red trace thru it, that what you meant?

 

no mate, i know what the wires are, its the terminals on the pump, one is yellow and one is black. need to know which is live and which one is earth

Yellow plug is 12V as said, and black is earth

 

Its got 2 bling bling cable ties on it actually

The holder is rotting away

Another thing to add to the ever growing list of things to do

Ah they do rot away, i think the stainless ones are the same money as original ones

 

and the worst bit is i didnt even pay for the cable ties

TURBO BOI ignore him, we have more sense than that, those extra 2 cable ties will be ruining his power to weight ratio

 

good thinking, might remove my cable ties and let the pump dangle for that extra power

 

Drop a couple of bolts out the tank aswell thats sure to give u at least 50bhp
