wots the best oil 4 xr2i 8v my mates tell me i cant use any 1 is dis true?

A good quality oil is a must even more so if you will be thrashing it. I ran my old one on Castrol GTX Magnatec but the RS's only ever get Mobil1

Depending on the age of the engine and what it's had done to it. Mobil1 is a good oil but it's not the cheapest stuff out there.

ford recomend running them on 10w 40w, any good manufacture with this grade should be fine
