Can back from surrey the car cut out
checked underneth fuse stuff one was blowen
then drorve home seemed ok but for one thing turned the car inition off and car still runs so poped the bonnet
diconected the coil paik cut the car off then thought maybe the inition barrel switch was the fault disconected it and erm no the clock light (BATTERY) stayed on wtf the car has a pectel type loom all i can think is some thing wrong with the relay what do the to relays do on the loom

ANYONE COME ACRISS THIS HELP

SO I DISCONECTED THE BATTERY FOR THE NIGHT INCASE THERE A SHORT

 

My nova used to do that all the time never did find out what it was though, so my post is totally useless but hey ho, it brought back memories pmsl although when you tried to rev it, it cut out!!! bloody vauxhalls

 

so did my mk1 escort, lol. Isnt it a earth or the barrel?

 

the barrel has a plug just after it and i disconceted it it still doing it

 

ok i just going out to strip the dash and find out WELL TRY TO
hope i can can park and disconect the battery every time with no alarm
