Default help needed - frst intermittently starting

Hi guys,

Hope someone can help.

The car has been off the road for a while, and this morning i started it up. and it started fine. I then stalled it trying to get it out the drive; and it refused to start again...

I tried everything, eventually deciding to disconnect the battery and leave it for half an hour. When i did this, it fired up!

But it basically seems that every time i stop the car, i need to disconnect the battery and leave it for a while before it will start up again.

does anyone have any idea why this might be the case?

Also, how difficult is it to change the front crank shaft oil seal?

thanks in advance for your help...

Euan

Default

take the plug off the cps and give it some WD40, do the same to the plug on the black and red wire that runs along the inner wing, past batter to starter, plug should be near battery.

could check the green relay also, clean off any brun marks on the legs with wet and dry or a knife

as for crank shaft oil seal, tbh mate ya better off reading it in the haynes manul than me explaining it here
