Default HELP NEEDED URGENTLY FOR E-BAY, SORTED NOW

I hope someone can help me, a few days ago i saw a rs turbo on e-bay for 8,600 pounds, 4,000 miles from new and one owner so i spoke to my girlfriend, got the ok, so i bid to 8,700, this met the reserve and i was the highest bidder i then agreed with my girlfiend i would not bid anymore as it would be a struggle live for a bit after buying it for 8,700 if no one outbid me, 2 days later i was outbid, so i then looked around for something else, straight away i found a focus rs down south at a ford dealership, test drove it and sighned on the dotted line meaning i could put a deposit down and pay the rest off on finance leaving us money in the bank, i pick the focus up tommorrow but i just logged on my computer to find the current high bidder has retracted his bid leaving me the highest bidder, i tried to retract my bid but it wont let me as it says the auction finishes in under 12 hours, i have contacted the seller by mail leaving my number incase he wants to speak to me, i have not been on e-bay that long and have 100% feedback, any advice as time is running out

Just tell him you want to retract as when you were outbid you bought something else, simple TBH you're off your head bidding that high on a tin pot anyway

You've done all you can mate... I'm pretty sure you can't do a damn thing now :-( Just (like you've done) E-Mail the seller and explain the situation...

If the other guy can retract you can. If he leaves bad feedback do it to him aswell. I'd rather get bad feedback than pay 8600 for an RST

Default turbo

if your bid is retracted it will leave the other highest bidder in the same boat ,the owner of the turbo could make a fuss about it but if he is genuine he should understand your position ,the other alternative is to set up another account with ebay and bid a stupid amount get neg feedback and close the account

Both Glasgow, gotta be a mate bigging it up.

At the end of the day you were outbid and have now spent money elsewhere, if the seller gets numpty who cares just take the neg feedback
