Drivers door dont fit and the panel gaps on the bonnet are different each side. I wouldnt pay a lot

my mate sold his really tidy f-reg small bumper for 600 quid not so long ago.

i'd prob give 700 for that with t and t, absolute tops

 

If that's the vale versionm, and it's a straight car thats in tidy condition then personally I'd go up to Ł1200. Nice cars to drive and they do go well.

However, as Matt says - buy with your eyes. If it doesn't look right, walk away.

 

If it's clean, it's worth a grand all day. Minters can still fetch over Ł2k, a mint 8v can still sell for Ł1500...

What everyone else has said... engines aren't a problem, it's body and interior, they've usually been mucked about with by every sod and his wife.
