Gearbox mount, engine mount, Track Control Arm ball joint, CV inner or outer joint, roll bar bushes etc etc as stated it could be one of many things.

If its just a slight clunk it should be ok. All Fords clunk

well its a s2 drove to london and back today but it was no problem but it feels like there is becoming more play in the gear stick and i mean you can twist the gear stick when in nutral and when it in gear but only slightly.

And when driving in 5th for a little while then when i slow down and change gear i really have to pull it hard to get it out into 4th.

And its also starting to judder when driving slow like when im in traffic bloody cars

Well, the wobbling in the stick will 99.9% be the linkage, nothing new, juddering, personally sounds like something clutch related, could be as simple as the adjustor on the pedal playing up, another common fault. Especially the not being to get it into 4th from 5th easily......
