cossie wheel bearing help
hi folks. use to use this a bit but aint been on for a while.had to reregister and now im a virgin again!!!!anyhow.trying to replace i front bearing on my 2wd cossie and im a bit stuck.spent ages finding a socket for the hub nut but now it wont come off.any advice would be much appricated as its currently on the drive on axle stands and i really need to get it finished.cheers
there a bit tight are`nt they
think the o/s is left hand thread
if its still tight its gonna need some heat on it, think i clamped the hub by the wheel studs in a vice(using soft jaws) heated the nut and spun it off
with a windy gun
hope this helps

I use someone pressing the brake pedal, aslong as your brakes are on the car!
Long breaker bar then, they do come undone in the end
Stupid torque figure when you put the new ones in too, around the 300NM mark IIRC
