Went with my pal to the Pod today and he is quite friendly with a few Skyline owners took a few pics and a vid of the cars I met up with today:-

Robs car.. he did a 10.8 at the pod last week did a 11.3 today but was dropping oil due to lack of catch tank so was barred to running again

My car.. not a good day from me as I fooked my clutch giving it billy big balls of the line with a standard clutch and 338bhp

 

Also I didn't get a pic or a vid of it but there was a wicked met blue mk2 Escort with a cossie lump and NMS sticker on the back. I'm sure I saw it featured in a mag a little while ago IIRC the pics where at a go-kart track? Anyway what a pukka car! I saw it do a 10.8

The Americans have stumbled upon this new thing in Japan where they drift during street races and have made a movie about it.

I can't see it catching on.

They also have races on mountain passes called touge's - Thank god the American movie industry is out there to present this new stuff to us in a realistic fashion.
