Default Is it worth going low comp?

I'm busy re-building my engine and have a list of what parts I'm buying this week but not sure if I should get low comp pistons or standard. I will have piper 285t2 cam kit, group A gasket set, ARP bolts, pace intercooler, stage 1 turbo, chipped ECU, cone air filter and stainless exhaust system.

What would everyone recommend? What are the pros and cons of low comp?

Thanks
Dave

So unless I run high boost levels I won't see much in the way of bhp gains?

Low comp will actually cost you a few bhp but it does allow you to run higher boost more safely. My FRST will be joining my Escort and will be getting a low comp rebuild

Well it's reliability that I want more than anything else. I wouldn't mind higher than standard bhp but it's not esential.

Just make sure u don't drop the compression too low or it'll make it laggy and horrible to drive off boost!
