.....may just be coming to an end.

Ball-Bearing core, Cut-back blades, Titanium shaft, 10.5 exhaust housing and a 4" ported inlet. Fitted with a 1.4 bar actuator.
It could potentially run 2.2 bar of boost, which will make around 420bhp, when coupled with the Cams/Verniers that have just been fitted too.
It makes 0.5 bar of boost by 2300rpm, 1 bar by 2800rpm and 1.8 bar by just over 3000rpm. It is foooooooooking rapid.

Oh well, at least I can do more than 60 miles on half-a-tank!!

So how do the sizes work for them then?
as it looks like a pretty small exhaust housing.
is that the equivalent of a T34 .63 on a YB engine?
does look nice!

10.5 would be mean the wheel was about 1cm big in that housing
Unless its been calculated not in a/r ratio, and its measured in cm2 like holset turbos etc....

I'm not exactly sure of the tech reason, but their housing sizes are different to Garrett's.
Remember Gary uses this car for Trackdays, this turbo was spec'd to allow him to get the maximum out of his car for that. He isn't chasing numbers. Be sure to watch out for him on track, that boy can drive. This is reflected in his unhealthy habit for tyres, brakes and fuel.

My daily chore is constantly nagging Gary to leave it alone.
It won't be long before the interior is stripped and it has a Roll-cage and Carbon panels. I can just feel it coming.
