About 20 of us are flying up to Newcastle next friday for a stag weekend!

We've organised paintballing and go karting for the days events but evening wise we are a little unsure! We've got some VIP tickets for the Lizard Lounge ( ? ) for saturday night but thats about it. What other decent bars/strip joints/clubs etc in town? What sort of dress code do they have up there, and how fookin cold is it at the moment? Us Southern softies have got to dress up warm! .

Not keen on Londoners up there mate, had a few incidents myself ..........just so you know !! Ladies are very friendly and real easy to talk to though and it's a real good laugh !!!!!! Atmosphere is excellent, unless you end up in the trouble we did !!!

 

Got mate's from there chris,meaning to go up with them one weekend but havent got round to it, Meant to be a fucking top night!!!

What are the birds like up there?? fit or mingers??!!

 

Both realy , the Gate Complex is getting more n more people every week now, but this good night out that Newcastle is known for is the Bigg Market without a shadow of a doubt. A lot of people will say the Quayside but the birds are stuck up.
Bigg market is full of filth ......if u know what I mean

As said above The Gate complex has some cool pubs in and just outsiode there is Tiger Tiger and Sam Jacks 2 of my fav bars, Sam Jacks has the Dentist chair


And untrue us geordie lasses dont like southerners ! Look where i live now !!

Baja Beach Club is full of birds, party type atmosphere,
Mood in the gate complex is the main one these days though, all sorts in there
Avoid Ikon like the plague, I used to go there every week and Im telling u , its like a bad day in Bosnia
But honestly mate, your in for a good weekend
Owt else u wanna know before I go out, Im going down the Big Market shortly

yeah we;ve got to tread carefully as there is a of us. We'll just have to go to various places in small groups.

Whats the dress code like up there? Are jeans ok everywhere or is i trousers etc??

Also theres a street that we used to go to alot, Mr Brannen you will probs know where i mean with Bar 55, The Lodge, Apartments, Revolution on ?

I have never actually heard of Lizard Lounge

 

Lizard Lounge is directly opposite the Central Station
One of the more laid back clubs from what I hear , Mood is ya best bet for a nightclub though mate, it has a mix of everything,even an RnB room upstairs , but dont forget if u dont like Mood you also have Bar Beyond,Bannatynes,Lloyds Bar, and now Players Bar with birds dancing on the tables all of which are open till 2 o clock as well

 

All of which are in the Gate Complex itself I forgot to add

 

Chris - The above places you should visit, they are just over the bridge on the right handside...

Specially as all the female bar staff wear Bikini's!

 

Just avoid St James's Park

Chris the Lizard Lunge isn't great its more of a older persons place. If you areon a stag doo you want the Gate, Quayside and the Bigg Market. In truth the Bigg Market is mainly sluts and charvers TBH but it's OK for a stag weekend.
Try Apartment and Tokyo for a bit more class.

PS I was out in a T shirt on Saturday night just gone but then again I'm a Geordie .... best pack your thermals you southern fairy

 

cool cheers guys! Are all of these places within walking distance to each other? The stag has got these VIP tickets and is for some reason keen on going to the Lizard Lounge. If its pants we'll all walk on elsewhere!
